i disagree with the sentence that the young people today have more worry than adult..young people need not worry about their family and the money , while most adult had to worry.
i think that it is indeed a challenge which most teenagers face feeling pressurized by the high standard the society've set in the recent years. however not all adults are unable to understand. Some adults are able to. Yes it may be pressurizing for youths in the 21st century however people from the past could have faced even tougher problems apart from education.
according to what alvin say that young people work to buy their personal things, this is a type of satisfaction and there is nothing to worry about. most of teenagers because of their large expenses . most of them no need to worry about supporting their parents.. although some responsible and sensible teenagers will help to pay some family's expenses and earn their own pocket money.
according to what ubaidal, that the teenagers are feeling pressurized by the the high standard the society have set in the recent year and that adults dont understand. we young people also dont know what is adult world like and how much pressure they face in work, and adult also gone through the age of ours and that time the world is also changing , so we cannot say that adult dont understand us
I disagree with shi fun when he said that adults don't understand the pressure that the teenages sre facing in the new centry. I feel that adults have more worries as they have to learn the new IT skills in order to keep their jobs. Many adults are worried as to when they will lost teir job. This is something teenages don't have to worry. Teenages only have to learn new knowledge whereas aduls have to learn how to apply what they know in their daily life.
I disagree with shifu when he say that young people buy things wih the money they earned is for sastifaction.
Once in a while, using the money earned to spend on something to 'reward' yourself is fine. However if u are to used it to buy things you want like mp3, expensive sun glasses to look cool. Then i think it is not necesary. It is like a waste of effort working.
According to what alvin said that teenage earn money to buy what they want, then the teenage are working without as much worry as the adult. adult earn money for his/her family whereas the teenage only work for oneself. So the stress the teenage face is much lesser than the adult
some great issues discussed here, but they seem to be superficial, analyse deeper, what about youths in other countries? What about during your parents' time - are the challenges different from what you face today?

You mean u do not worry if your parents or siblings fall ill? You mean you will not shed a single tear if one of your loved ones dies?
Teenages also go to work. Places like fastfood resturant have plenty of teenages working there. Do they work for free? i doubt so.
i believe most of them work to earn extra pocket money to spend on other stuffs like mp3 and more to not be 'outdated' among friends.
